2016 RCI International Convention and Trade Show

The 31st RCI International Convention and Trade Show will take place March 10-15 at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, Florida. Over the last thirty years, the convention has attracted the attention of some of the best minds in the building envelope industry. Making Connections is the overall theme of the convention, with many of the events geared toward giving professionals unique networking opportunities to further the growth of their organizations.

This year’s trade show begins Saturday March 12 and runs through Sunday March 13. A record number of vendors have been registered for the trade show, including FiberTite! One of the expected highlights of the convention includes a keynote presented by Colonel Chris Hadfield. Colonel Hadfield is a Canadian astronaut, engineer, and pilot who will be speaking about a variety of topics, most importantly the United States and Canada’s unique bond.

Other than the keynote, there will be 23 educational seminars attendees can choose from as well as two auxiliary seminars. These auxiliary seminars will provide attendees with a more in-depth analysis of current building envelope issues. Overall, these seminars will provide individuals in the building envelope industry with vital information that can be brought back and applied to their own organizations. It is important to note that the auxiliary seminars will be taking place on Friday, March 11, with the other seminars taking place Saturday through Monday.
