NRCA Needs You at Roofing Day in D.C. – March 6-7, 2018

The National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA) is bringing together roofing professionals on March 6-7, 2018 in Washington, D.C. for Roofing Day in D.C. 2018. This is a unique opportunity to join hundreds of roofing professionals as they descend on Capitol Hill to meet with members of Congress and their staffs and speak with ONE VOICE as a united industry!

Contractors, architects, consultants, manufacturers, distributors, service providers and all other roofing professional are welcome. The goal is to have 1,000 roofing professionals help deliver the message with ONE VOICE. Registration for this event is only $49. The Issues

The goals of Roofing Day in D.C. 2018 are to focus on industry support, regulatory reform, workforce development and immigration reform. First, the roofing industry’s support of regulatory reform is critical to ensure excessive regulation does not prevent U.S. employers from growing their business and creating jobs. Second, supporting legislation to address the chronic workforce shortages is important in the roofing industry and can be achieved by improving career and technical education. Finally, immigration reform is critical and includes increased border security, improved workplace enforcement, positions for temporary workers entering the U.S. legally, and focusing on the existing unauthorized workforce in a fair manner.
