Why Commercial Roof Insulation Matters
Commercial roof insulation is a key component of roofing systems that helps regulate temperature, control moisture, and improve overall building performance. Insulation is a functional layer that lives between the membrane and the vapor barrier and helps protect the roof’s structural integrity.
High-Performance Polyiso Roof Insulation from FiberTite
With its high-performance roof assemblies, FiberTite offers FTR-Value polyisocyanurate roof insulation boards, consisting of a polyiso foam core with superior fire performance characteristics and the ability to retain high R-values over the duration of the roof’s service life.
Our insulation boards are available in a variety of thicknesses for single, multi-layer, and tapered roof installations. Available sizes include 4’ x 4’ or 4’ x 8’ boards that maintain a long-term thermal resistance (LTTR) of approximately 6.0 per inch.
Tested Performance and Compliance
FTR-Value polyisocyanurate roof insulation is manufactured to meet and/or exceed federal specifications, including:
- ASTM C1289-11 Type II, Class I, Grade 2
- Class A (UL 790)
- Class 1A (FM 4470)
