FiberTite® Adhered Commercial Roofing Systems for High-Wind Performance

FiberTite Adhered Commercial Roofing Systems are engineered to prevent leaks and deliver high-wind performance, making them a reliable solution for critical commercial buildings.

This fully adhered roofing system is bonded to the substrate with a high-performance adhesive. Without mechanical fasteners, wind pressure is evenly distributed across the surface. A fully adhered system can typically achieve higher uplift ratings than other systems.

What Are Adhered Commercial Roof Systems Best For?

Generally, FiberTite adhered systems are best suited for buildings where wind performance, aesthetics, and substrate compatibility are priorities, and are ideal for, but not limited to:

  • Coastal regions
  • Open terrain (plains, airports, large campuses)
  • Tall buildings

How Are FiberTite Adhered Systems Constructed?

For typical board stock insulation systems, the single-ply roofing membrane is adhered to layers of fiberglass, paper, or treated facing materials that are laminated to the board products. The overall performance of a fully adhered roof is largely dependent upon the multiple layers of adhesive that hold the “composite” together with the fabric except for its attachment around penetrations and on perimeters of walls and edges.

The “composite” and other intermediate components can be any combination of insulation systems, cover boards, vapor retardants, temporary roof systems, and inner strata layers of adhesives. FiberTite offers two basic fully adhered roofs, five types of adhesives, and hot asphalt to cover your project requirements.

FiberTite single-ply membranes offer four layers of protection that buildings can count on.

Why FiberTite for My Commercial Roof?

FiberTite earns its name by creating the roofing industry’s toughest base fabric. Combined with high-performance PVC materials enhanced with KEE (Ketone Ethylene Ester), this fabric foundation delivers exceptional strength, chemical resistance, and long-term durability in adhered roofing systems.

The result is a roof you can depend on for decades. Learn more about our membrane technology and how it differs from other options like TPO, PVC, and EPDM.
